The Learning Center

Trying to find a place on campus to study this semester?

The Learning Center is in the lower level of Gabel Hall and is open to all students. This expansive space contains moveable tables and white boards ideal for group collaboration. Students can also use individual work spaces or our computer lab. Enjoy free coffee, fill up your water bottle or heat up your lunch in our café which offers additional workspace at high top tables.

Students, faculty and staff are also welcome to relax in Huskie Haven. Located inside Gabel Hall 01, the room features a heated massage chair, a mirrored waterfall, a meditation pillow, a DVD trip to tropical beaches and soft lighting. Panels cover the window and door to ensure privacy. If you are interested in reserving time in our Huskie Haven room, please contact learningcenter@niu.edu.
