A greeting to my future students

Hello future students! I am very excited to meet you and see your beautiful country! I look forward to having a lot of fun while we practice speaking and writing in English!

Why I want to be a teacher and what I believe promotes great learning

As a teacher, I love looking for opportunities to share my passion for learning, and finding different ways to connect with my students and encourage them to pursue their interests.  Great learning can be promoted through forming connections - with the teacher, with other students, and with the content being learned.  I love looking for those little moments when those connections form, and, the "Aha!" moments happen!

Why I am interested in teaching in Taiwan

I am interested in teaching in Taiwan for many different reasons! I am passionate about traveling, and love exploring new places! This trip is a perfect opportunity to combine my interest in travel with my background of being an ESL teacher.  This will be a chance to step into a new dimension of language instruction for me, and allow me to grow my skills as a teacher working with students who do not have a common language background that we can both rely on.  I am excited to not only teach my language to my students in Taiwan, but also hopefully learn from them as well!

My desired superpower and why

If I could have any superpower, I would love to be able to speak, read, write, and understand any language!  I have such a passion for learning different languages that I feel this superpower would make it so much fun and easy to communicate with everyone that I meet, as well as inspire me to want to travel to new places even more!
