Not all departmental courses are offered every semester. As you plan your schedule of classes, it is important to determine when courses are offered and take them as appropriate.
Please note that the rotations included below are projections and are therefore subject to change based on a number of factors from semester to semester.

Fall 2013
- CAHC 211-Career Counseling - - CAHC 211 is an undergraduate course which assists students in exploring careers and providing career decision making skills. Multiple sections are being offered for the Fall 2013 semester with separate class sections for freshmen/sophomores and juniors/seniors. The junior/senior sections also focus on resume writing and interviewing skills for job search success. Students should make sure to expand their search results to “View All” sections.
- CAHC 586-Internship in Counseling - Graduate students who have successfully completed CAHC 511 have an opportunity to earn up to 200 hours of internship while gaining valuable teaching experience as instructors for CAHC 211. - ETR 520-3-Introduction to Research Methods in Education – Master’s students in Counseling are required to register for a special section of ETR 520 for Counseling majors. The next time this required section will be offered is during the Fall 2013 semester as follows:
ETR 520-3-Introduction to Research Methods in Education – A special section of ETR 520 is being offered for Counseling majors on Thursdays from 3:00-5:40pm in Gabel Hall 106. Dr. Cynthia Campbell will be the instructor.
Students will not be able to see this course when they do a search for ETR 520. In order to register, students must enter 12062 where MyNIU asks for a class number.
