Early Elementary

  • Compare the roles of individuals in a one-room school and on a farm in the early 1900s to those of today. (Standard 18B1a)

Late Elementary

  • Describe interactions of individuals, groups and institutions in the community in the early 1900s and compare to today. (Standard 18B2a)
  • Describe the ways in which one-room schools met the needs of society in the early 1900s. (Standard 18B2b)

Junior High

  • Analyze how individuals and groups interacted with and within institutions like the one-room schoolhouse during the early 1900s. (Standard 18B3a)
