Dr. Jenny Parker, associate professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education, has been named the first Alyce Kramer Marcus Outstanding Educator.
Paul Carpenter, chair of the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education, recently finished first in a 1,044-mile race from Oceanside, California to Taos, New Mexico.
This is another notable victory on the way to Dr. Carpenter's possible entry to the Race Across America, also known as "the World's Toughest Bicycle Race."
